Avatar was a massive disappointment. I mean the special effects were amazing, especially in imax 3D, but the story was boring and predictable, and who really wants to see massive blue aliens having sex. The movie felt more like a ride at Disney World than an actual movie, which I'll admit is pretty cool.. for the first hour, but they dragged this "epic" on for 2 hours and 42 minutes. Out of 10 I would give Avatar a 4, and thats only because of the effects, if it was not in imax 3D i would probably give it a 2.
